Food is amazing, the only downside to this place is that it can get shoulder to shoulder packed with people. Good sign that the food is great I guess.

My friend and I wanted to go somewhere with good food, watch the Phillies game and to be able to hear each other and that's exactly what we got. Tim was our waiter and he was great. We started with the huge pick and peel shrimp which I think may be the biggest shrimp I've ever eaten. We each had the seafood combo, I had the broiled she had the fried and we both loved it. I just had beer on tap , she had mixed drinks. I called my mom on the way home to remind her we still need our lunch date. I can't wait to go back and try something else on the menu.

The food was delicious and the service was good. My sister and I go here often . Always enjoyable! I am sure we will be back again. I had the steak with gnocchi in a flavorful cream sauce. The steak was tender but a little on the medium rare side and I prefer medium. The gnocchi was delicious! Dagwoods is a sports bar with a full bar and tvs for the games. Check them out!

Dagwoods stands out from other Northeast Philly bars. A neighborhood vibe mixed with upscale yet reasonably priced menu. Their dishes are prepared fresh and you can taste the difference.

Our experience at the Dagwood's Pub was fantastic, we thought the staff really shared the mission to make each guest's visit memorable. I personally had the she crab soup that was the highlight of my meal, it was creamy with fresh tasting ingredients that made the start of my meal really stand out. I also enjoyed the fish taco from the afternoon specials that was big and delicious, not a small fish taco that I have had at other restaurants. The vibe in the restaurant area was of locals enjoying a bite and a drink after work or to just kick off the weekend. I observed many family and friends enjoying a late lunch or early dinner together, groups that assembled to not only enjoy good food and drink but the company of each other. As a visitor I enjoy eating in a local location that the neighborhood supports and shares the staff's vision to enjoy time with friends. Thanks for a memorable afternoon, my wife and I will be back to enjoy a meal again soon.

Dagwoods is always pretty busy especially during prime time hours. I came here for a Saturday late lunch and there was no wait. They have the best she crab soup in the area! Also got an order of boneless bites; which were more like tenders and the portion size was massive! Great overall.

Good food. A bit crowed but really great menu. Easy parking and the music was good too. Really enjoyed eating at this place. The waitresses were down to earth and funny. A lot of local People but u can't survive on just locals so word of mouth must be bringing them in because this place was crowed and it was a week night. My friend Kim has known about Dag's for awhile but finally suggested we go for a meal and I'm damn happy she finally did The menu is diverse and the soups are da bomb. Actually everything on the menu was tasty and was brought out quickly and was hot so no microwave being used at Dagwood's.

Went two times this past week and my sister and I enjoyed it both times. Such a nice menu with variety - we enjoyed the blackened salmon, fried Jersey tomatoes with crab, the lobster pot, and the gnocchi with chicken as our main courses. The seafood fries and the cheese steak Pierogies were also delicious and plenty to share as appetizers. I have to add the slushy blood orange drink was yummy and refreshing, as well! The staff during both visits were awesome - very friendly and attentive and helpful (to my questions). There are two sections - a dining room and a separate area with a bar.
